Taghazout Skatepark Association – First Local Skate Jam Recap
On Saturday, 8th November 2025, the Taghazout Skatepark Association hosted a skate jam, bringing together the local skate community for an unforgettable day of skating and good vibes.
More than 20 skaters entered the contest, throwing down their best tricks in the big section of the park. With 12 prizes up for grabs — including 4 sets of Independent trucks, 4 sets of OJ wheels, 4 skate decks, and a 1000dh cash prize for Best Trick — the competition was fierce and full of energy.
Every participant gave it their all, but it was Pakita who took the top spot and the cash, after landing a smooth long grind followed by a big ollie over the pyramid curb. The crowd went wild, and the stoke was real as the winners walked away with fresh new gear and big smiles.
The event was such a success that we’ve decided to make the Taghazout Skate Jam a monthly series, alternating between street and surfskate sessions — keeping the local community rolling, active, and inspired.
